It's all just a game of cards ♠♥♣♦
As they read out “3032”, I wailed “Noooo, not again”.
Yep, I won the lockdown lottery this week and am back in #isolife.
I admit, I had a little whinge after realising that I am stuck inside again. Then I pulled myself up and thought…
July is like a card game (err what?)
If these are the cards you’ve been dealt, how will you play this game?
(I’ll circle back to answer this, so bear with me)
~
Earlier this year, we launched a program called Game Plan 2020. With a small group of selected participants, we helped them develop their own individual game plans to achieve whatever goal they had lingering on their vision board or wishlist.
I know how hard it is to keep that dream alive. I know how much harder it is to figure out what steps to take to make it come true.
So the goal in running that program was simple, let’s help make dreams a reality. No matter how small or how big, if we have this one precious life, let’s make sure that this game we’re playing is one we can win.
It’s been 6 months since we ran that first program and a number of you have reached out to see when we’ll be running the next one. To be quite honest, I’ve been holding off until the time is “right".
About a week ago, one of our original Game Plan 2020 participants, Sharruni, contacted me to let me know that the vision and plan she had written out during the program was starting to come to complete fruition.
She had always wanted to open up her own cake store after running her business on the side and selling online for the last 7 years. In the plan that we helped her create, she'd specified how her dream store would look like.
Get this, in the last few weeks she stumbled upon, not just one, but two potential empty shops that looked exactly like what she had visualised in that plan. They also only became available and accessible in the last few months due to COVID. And now she is as motivated as ever to turn her dream into a reality.
Oh yes, that gave me goosebumps all over.
Sometimes what might seem like a weak hand is an opportunity masked as a setback. The game doesn’t really start until we make the commitment to play.
And winning in the game of life has very little do with the cards you’re dealt with and more often than not it's how you play them.
So if you’re feeling a bit stuck, (maybe you’re also in one of the lucky postcodes), yet determined to make the second half of 2020 extraordinary, here’s your chance to apply.
It's not going to be for everyone and we’re only going to accept a limited number of you who are committed to change their game and go all out. Yes, there will be $$ involved but we all know that having skin in the game is a great motivator to creating life-long changes needed to live an extraordinary life.
We'll be kicking off again on 22nd July, game on!
Stay Peachy,
