Those love notes…

..and why we do what we do.

“I was so inspired and energised when I left. The stories I heard and the panels were incredibly inspiring.”
— Mellanie, founder of Mustud

“It was attending a couple of League events that I met some of my now dearest friends and business partners - as ambitious, entrepreneurial and hungry to learn as I am.
Those connections are priceless, so without the events, an opportunity to be inspired by hearing from women in business and meet new people,
I’d not be where I am today.”

“I was inspired by Sheryl when she launched Meet your Maven and wanting to help women in business and leadership skills.
I approached Sheryl as she came from a background of baking to help me with next steps and goal setting for my cake business and little did I know how much more I was going to learn from her.
Her knowledge in business and simple tasks she has set has already help me in the direction of having the right tools for my business.
I am really excited and grateful that I have such a great mentor and cannot wait for our next catchup.”
— Sharruni

“There were pearls of wisdom and entrepreneurial brilliance all day long.

My key take away that year was to pivot. I was facing extreme pressure that almost closed the business doors three times. Externally, my brave face and cheer kept it all together but internally, sheer grit was getting me through. I was exhausted. When I heard the word pivot - it resonated. It struck a chord. And it worked. I got to speak to some of the speakers and ask questions. I learnt a lot about myself and about business. All in one day. Kind of incredible really.

I left the conference connected to some amazing women who I’m still in touch with today. I managed to take that one word - pivot - and turn my entire business around in a very short amount of time just by being creative and literally, pivoting. The extra confidence helped too! ”

“In 2015, I was one foot in, one foot out. I was working with about 50 clients and working part-time in my corporate role. It was a tough juggling act, moving between my logical brain and my creative brain and making it all work. After the conference, I was inspired enough to jump in blindly with both feet and give my business my 100% undivided attention. ”

“Last week i was ready to pull the pin on a very exciting personal opportunity. Sheryl’s email came at just the right time and reminded me that I have value to contribute and purpose to achieve.”
