There are people who depend on you and that load can feel heavy at times.
You're tired. Depleted. Drained.
This is a reminder to take some time out for you.
You can't pour from an empty cup.
You can't do great things if you're only half here.
So hit pause.
Strengthen your mindset - meditate, limit your download of negative news, create a powerful mantra.
Nourish your body with intentional movement and green leafy things.
Take deep breaths, get your favourite essential oil out, and dab it on your wrists and temples.
You are a strong, capable leader even if at times you don't feel like it.

About 6 weeks ago, I was broken, depleted and not in a great head space. Someone shared this powerful quote with me and it hit me like a tonne of bricks. I could see myself slipping into a dark hole and knew that I needed to pull myself out. I had to take time out for myself, even if it was just an hour a day.
Fast forward to now, I have regained this sense of clarity and I feel ready to lead. It's scary to even say that but I am. I felt compelled to share this message with you today because I didn't know how important it was to look after my own mental state first. Often leading is exhausting but we need more leaders like you in this world, so hit pause every now and again, then keep on going.
